He started playing the bars and clubs in Nashville at the age of thirteen influenced by early punk and rock music. He's been playing an instrument since the age of eight, starting on the drums, and learning rhythm guitar in his early twenties. Greg McFaden, born in Virginia and raised in Nashville from an early age, brings a lifetime of experience to the duo both on stage as a performing musician and sound technician, and in the recording studio as sound engineer utilizing his Audio Engineering degree from Full Sail University, Winter Park Florida.
